Atherton Fiber Stands for Net Neutrality

3/9/2018

With the net neutrality regulations repealed, service providers now have the power to block certain websites, throttle internet speeds, and demand fees to access websites deemed ‘priority’.

Many independent, local Internet Service Providers are united in their stance on net neutrality, but Atherton Fiber is taking one giant step further with Open Fiber's open access network.

OpenFiber is building a 100% open access network for Atherton Fiber and the town of Atherton. OpenFiber builds and operates fiber optic networks in the San Francisco Bay Area serving thousands of customers. Any ISP that stands for net neutrality can provide services over the open access fiber network.

We will continue to protect your privacy, your data and your right to browse your way. Net neutrality thrives with Atherton Fiber operating OpenFiber's open access network.
