Fiber for your
Single Family Home
Next steps for Single Family Home dwellers
If your home is on its own section and you don’t share a driveway, your place is most likely a Single-Dwelling Unit, or SDU. To get started, we’ll set up an appointment with an Atherton Fiber technician, who will meet you at your address to discuss the work required to upgrade your place to fiber, depending on your property type.

Step One
Agree on Your Install Plan
We’ll come to your home to discuss with you the best installation method for your property.

Step Two
Build Your Fiber
We’ll build the fiber from the street to a small box on the outside of your home. You don’t need to be present.

Step Three
Get Connected
We then connect the fiber to an optical network terminal within your house. This time you’ll need to be there.
